3.18: New York

Yesterday we traveled to the glorious (yet dreaded, on behalf of we) city commonly known as New York, New York. It was the first NY trip we have ever experienced when the weather was behaving in our favor. Twas sunny, twas warm, and the locals seemed less miserable than usual.
Arising at 5:14am proved to be the most difficult feat of the day, especially after the previous day's St. Patrick Day festivities. The buses took off at 6:34am leaving behind the Typ
ography teacher chasing after them. Jaclyn could not get that sight out of her head for the rest of the day, of him chasing after the bus with his hand outstretched, pleading for the bus driver to slow down, looking directly at the window from which Jaclyn was looking back at him..
We arrived in NY at 9:52am and had to bolt down near Canal St. for the visit at the ad agency BBH at 10:30. Matt & Sam gave we (including Allison & Mickey) a tour of their previous
internship location. We met Louis, David, Tricia, and the infamous barista Jose Luis. The view from the building was splendorous, and we spent about a half hour in the BBH photobooth.
We then subwayed up to Central Park, where we sunbathed on a large rock and met up with Julia & Shannon. And by sunbathed, we mean the outline of Jaclyn's necklace is now sunburnt into her skin.
Then we sought out a deli and traveled to RGA to visit Kim at work. She showed we some of the Walmart campaigns she has been working on, and we met her co-worker and VC alum Lauren.
We's next stop was Madison Square Park to meet up with Andrew Zolty who we previously met in London at Poke! but recently opened up a new agency in NY called Breakfast. He gave us an interesting advertising assignment and chatted a bit.
Approximately 18 of us ventured over to a mexican restaurant called Rodeo that had some bangin margaritas, and we hung out there until it was time to take the bus home again.
