Technology enthusiast Steve Hoefer invented a glove that, based on the wearer's movements, plays Rock Paper Scissors. Using flex sensors, an acceleration chip, an engraved polyester sheet monitor, and a computer code, this glove offers a competitive opponent to this popular game. The glove senses the wearer's movements and remembers their history of playing techniques to generate the next move. This glove is easily used by basically anyone who puts it on, without any prior knowledge to it's behavior. A person does not have to learn to use this device, but the computer learns how to respond accordingly based on the user.
Hoefer claims to have established no clear reason as to why he created this piece, besides cultivating his interest in computer response systems. He states, "The glove's current record for best-of-five matches against me is 71 wins and 62 losses." Next time you need to settle a personal dilemma, or you simply seek the company of an inhuman gaming partner, consider the Rock Paper Scissors Gloved as the solution to your problems.
