This has been one of the worst weeks ever. And that was established 2 days ago. In other words, we've gotten a buttload of work completed, so now we actually have something to show for this semester.
Jaclyn has not slept since Saturday night, despite an accidental 3 hour nap at 5am today while doing work on the couch. She also has a newly diagnosed finger infection (compliments of a man at Walgreens), and she was advised to get it sliced open and drained if it does not heal soon.
Danielle has been self-diagnosed as suffering from Lactose-intolerance, Celiacs disease, Arachnophobia, Geniophobia, Gloopyness, Coprastasophobia, and infatuation with Matthew Elijah Fuller.
The only thing that has made it all worth fighting for is our newest $8 addition to the studio:
We spent this entire day driving around Delaware to obtain the necessities for our quickly approaching Portfolio Review in NYC. We first skipped Bill's class to go to ZZHouse at 10am to drop off our portfolios to get printed. Then we reconvened at the studio, leaving again to get book-binding materials at Finley's Art Shop. Then Jaclyn called Bill to ask permission to skip his Ad class, during which he reprimanded her for not attending a "mandatory" lecture at noon. She convinced him that she did indeed attend, which she did not. Then we went to Staples and JoAnn fabrics, where we spent too much time searching for irrelevant trinkets. We ended our shopping spree at Jake's Hamburger's for a rushed romantic dinner (like the good ol' days).
Today Danielle decided to rehash her previously infertile attempts, and is now incubating potential sea monkeys in her water bottle.
Jaclyn's workspace/makeshift cubicle for the past two nights:
ugh. we can't til this week is over.
